2025/2026 Committee

EdMUN is a large society, with many EdMUN… people.

In this most diplomatic of years, 1930s Germany revealed its hand a tad early, we raised Britain’s greatest statesmen from the grave, INTERPOL charged jolly old Saint Nick for his unspeakable crimes, our Secretary ended his twelve year MUN career with a Fatboy Slim reference, and the Security Council was unanimous in the need to raze Dubai. We also learned that if our members were in the leadership of the Bolshevik party the Soviet Union would have been very short-lived indeed.

If I were to predict this year’s legacy, I hope it would be the frequent use of consultations of the whole. I pray this is a permanent change, much to the chagrin of my predecessors. I also remain steadfast in my view that EdMUN, the largest diplomacy society, should simply eat the others, and hope future Presidents can manifest this where I have failed.

This year we say goodbye to many familiar faces. Our best wishes go to Ollie Baker, Jamie Day, Gideon Eria and Kyle Scorgie. A warm congratulations to Kasia Bain, Lara Hambleton, Georgina Atkinson, Romane Perche, Carlo Langdell, Dimitri Bonneville, and Dalia Wickenden, who will be joining the committee next year.

Best of luck to EdMUNers from here to eternity, may Edmund always be with you!
